Who May Compete

UK’s National Miss is an award winning pageant system for girls and women aged 12+. There is no upper age limit and the competition covers England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.

Contestant shall be a citizen of Great Britain or Northern Ireland, or reside in Great Britain or Northern Ireland. Great Britain comprises of England, Wales and Scotland.

Former winners of the UK’s National Miss Pageant are not eligible to compete again for the same title. Former entrants and finalists are eligible to compete again for the titles of UK’s National Junior Miss, UK’s National Teen, UK’s National Miss, UK’s National Ms & UK’s National Classic Ms.

English is the official language of the UK’s National Miss contests. It is a requirement for contestants to speak English.

Entrants’ legal gender must be female.

UK’s National Junior Miss finalists must be aged 12-15 years on August 1st the year of the competition (finalists may be 11 years of age provided that they reach their 12th birthday prior to August 1st the year of the competition).

UK’s National Teen finalists must be aged 16-19 years on August 1st the year of the competition.

UK’s National Miss finalists must be aged 20-29 years on August 1st the year of the competition.

UK’s National Ms finalists must be aged 30-44 years on August 1st the year of the competition.

UK’s National Classic Ms finalists must be aged 45+ on August 1st the year of the competition. (Anyone 45+ will automatically be entered into the Classic Ms division but will be awarded the option of competing in either the Ms division or the Classic Ms division)

UK’s National Miss, Ms & Classic Ms finalists may be single, married, divorced or have children.
